Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness
By far my favorite book trilogy of all time is Patrick Ness' Chaos Walking. It's just a book series that has captivated me like no other book trilogy has done before. In fact it's the only book series apart from Harry Potter that I read twice. It's just that Ness' writing style is so descriptive and narrative of each character's personality without having the cost of boring "This character is basically..." pages. The way that Ness purposefully used wrong grammar to emphasize his point of how the main character doesn't know how to read or the way that he cuts his sentences off halfway when the character thinks about something he doesn't want to think about is so original and fitting that I'm shocked he isn't one of the most popular writers of the modern era. I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks this way...
