Sleeping giant by Kazuo Ishiguro
I just finished reading sleeping giant by Kazuo Ishiguro. I have to say that the story was really good, I really enjoyed the ending after Wistan killed the dragon and said that a war will break out. But I did not really understand the ending with Axl and Beatrice. Did Beatrice die or what? This work written by Kazuo has left me confused and I would really appreciate if someone filled me up on the meaning of the ending between Axl and Beatrice.
