Why is watchmen not under DCs vertigo imprint?
Every time I read it, the boom just screams to me that, although it has superheroes, it should be listed as a vertigo comic due to its mature satiric (not comedic) themes. Is it because of DCs deal with Alan Moore over the printing of the book or has there ever been a reason given for it?
