Wuthering Heights
Just finished it, I really loved this. It was such an opposite to Jane Eyre. I was very surprised at how far Heathcliff went in getting his revenge on everybody and how evil he truly was. I also found the narration through Nelly a good way of telling the story, but I was struck by how responsible Nelly was for much of what happened. Her silence and unwillingness to communicate multiple times helped Heathcliff get his way or stopped a woman from knowing the truth about Heathcliff. I was also just struck by the strong female characters in this. Just wanting to hear some other people’s thoughts
