Hi all,

So I just finished reading Hekla's Children by James Brogden and can't find any discussions about the book anywhere online. If you've read it I'd really like to hear your opinions. I enjoyed it but there is one thing that has been bothering me ever since I put the book down.

Towards the end of the books it is revealed spoiler

I found this sudden change in direction to be jarring. I like the idea, I just feel like it wasn't set up properly.

Thoughts?
