I was reading the part where Alex’s doctor kept on smiling sadistically at Alex’s pain due to the Ludovico Technique. Alex is a terrible person at the very least and a criminal, but do you think he deserved the treatment he received in the hospital? Personally, I don’t think they should have forced him to undergo the experimental technique. I couldn’t help but sympathize with him when they played Beethoven over the films. Because he felt so strongly about it and called it a sin I felt it was just so human and full of life/passion, that I had to stop ask who is wrong. Yes, the technique was for “the greater good” but I felt that they could have just put him back in jail in order for him to potentially truly see the error of his ways. Sorry if my opinion is a little unclear, I’m a bit unsure of how I feel about the whole thing and I wanted to hear the inputs of others :)
