I’ve never really understood the John Green hype. I’ve read pretty much everything he’s ever written, and whilst TFIOS made me sob, even when I was still his target age they never really struck me as incredible YA fiction. I kept reading them hoping it would click, and man it just did.

Turtles All The Way Down is unbelievable. The mental health aspect, the characterisation... the whole thing just really worked for me.

If you’ve ever been a John Green sceptic, you’ve really gotta give this one a try.

Would be super interested to hear if John Green fans found it any different?
