Maybe it's a bit dumb to post and ask about, but I'm trying looking for someone else's thoughts on why Cathy behaves like she does in the chapter "Enchantress... Me?" Especially her line when she's talking to Paul:

"You don't have to love me." "Just use me when you need me, and that will be enough."

Is it a combination of her thinking she owes him and the happenings from the first book that make her behave like so?

I don't know much about girls haha, so some explanation would be appreciated. If this isn't the right place to post I'll take it down.
