So I'm not thrilled about the fact that Miles isn't Spider-Man anymore.

But you know what would be pretty cool in my eyes? If, no longer being Spider-Man, he just forewent the secret identity thing entirely. Just go out there as Miles Morales in his civvies and save lives.

It would be a really good way to differentiate him from Peter Parker, and allow him to take his stories in places that Peter's don't really get to go. With Peter the secret identity thing is pretty much set in stone at this point. We've had so many stories where his secret identity gets revealed and everything immediately goes to shit, so now Peter's a total paranoid weirdo about his secret identity.

Miles could deal more with the aftermath. With keeping his mom safe when any deranged lunatic can just look her up on google. With trying to keep down a job when villains keep attacking you at work. So on and so forth.
