I just finished it on the 1st day of the year, and it kind of broke me.. Got me really depressed and I couldn't take the last part (Part 3) in one take because I had to stop.. Too crushing for my soul.. But oh my what a book..

On another note: I felt the book was really personal, I felt Orwell's presence was very strong throughout for some reason.. Although the book was not giving the personal impression, but it felt really emotional...
