It’s no secret that film/TV adaptations of books usually fall flat in comparison to the book, but sometimes that’s not the case. I recently finished The Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick which has been adapted into an Amazon series of the same name. I found the show to be much more compelling, while the book lacked anything in the way of plot.

What are some other examples of this, in your opinion?
