I don't really see this around reddit at all so here goes. Now i don't read all that much and truth be told i never really liked it. My preferences were always really niece. I only ever enjoyed the percy jackson because i always loved the greek lore. Over the years I've tried many books from many different genres and i never get invested in the characters. That's probably a personal problem.

When i started reading the first book i was a bit hesitant on continuing. However, once the girl was introduced it became intriguing and it just got better from there. I really liked whenever todd and viola were together. It was weird to realize how emotionally invested i was in these characters as the book went on. I think it's safe to say I've fallen in love with a book after all these years of searching. I strongly urge those that have thought about giving this book a chance to try it. I just started the third book after reading the first two in the matter of a week. I read it every chance, it's a shame that i feel an urge to quit reading this not because it's disappointing but because I want more. So if anyone wants to suggest a similar series I'd love try some.
