I was recently diagnosed with Schizoid Personality Disorder with features of Avoidance and Dependence. It makes a lot of sense, but I don't have an aversion to intimacy. It's true that intimacy makes me uncomfortable and I'm a very cloistered person but I do desire relationships with other people. I feel like that itself contradicts what the core of SPD is about. Do you guys think I might've been misdiagnosed, or is this not uncommon for schizoid types?
