I myself love his prose. If there's one author I could imitate word for word, it would be George R.R Martin (and maybe Haruki Murakami).

But some people say that his prose is just overloaded and all over the place. I can't see what their pointing at, I really can't. The words he uses are so vivid and evokes such rich imagery that is seldom found in modern fiction.

I want to see what you guys on this sub think about his prose and massage my beliefs a little bit.
