I don't understand the appeal of The Yellow Wallpaper.
I just finished The Yellow Wallpaper. I saw people raving about it on a Reddit thread earlier this week and decided to give it a go since it was so short. I don't understand why people seem to hold it in such high regard. It seems to me like a cut and dry 'narrator goes crazy' kind of book. I saw that it was important for feminism, but as just an interesting read, I didn't see the appeal. Does anyone have a way I can look at it to change my mind and possibly enjoy it a little more?
