I started on January 1st and I'm going to finish by December 31st this year. I have had this book for a while but I've always been too intimidated by it to start. However, I felt like doing something interesting with the new year and I'm going to read at least one chapter per day of War and Peace until I finish what lots of people regard to be the greatest novel ever written!
I'm currently on Chapter 7 and it's really interesting so far. Pierre is probably my favorite character so far. I like how he has the courage to speak his mind in the face of people whose opinions differ so greatly from his own.
Anyway, wish my luck my friends, and I can't wait to talk about this book with you all when I finish!
