When I was a kid, definitely younger than 10 since we lived in the UK at that time, I remember sitting on the kitchen counter top next to the stove..my mom was really irritated I guess, and I asked her whether the stove, the element, was hot, and she said "why don't you touch it and see" and I put my hand on it, it was hot, I blacked out, what I remember after that is getting home from the hospital I think, and I had this filmy thing on my hand. Any chance that event could be the cause of my inability to trust, and obsession with figuring out things?
