I'm 15, and I've never really gone out to a club or something. The other day in class, one of my teachers asked us how many of us go out regularly, and only 4 out of 21 raised their hands. I knew this, most of us aren't very wild and teenager-y. But one of the girls who does go out every week or so was sitting behind me, and she started complaining: 'Why are you guys so boring? In my former school, everyone went out! You aren't living!' She then turned to her neighbor and said: 'Like, I'm not going to have fun reading a book on a Friday night, oh my god haha. Or like, playing a board game...' I felt quite hurt, since I sincerely enjoy both of those activities. I understand that some people never start reading a book for fun (which is a bit sad, but oh well), but why make fun of people who do? By the way, this girl regularly calls herself a nerd, but she really isn't, she's just a perfectionist and wants good grades.
