Open to discussion would love to hear opinions as it will help me in the order I choose to read the two series. For now I’m personally leaning more towards Lord of the Rings first due to how much I enjoyed the prose of the Hobbit by Tolkien. However I have sampled a good amount of the first Harry Potter book by Rowling and have to say that the detail is intriguing as well. Please let me know your thoughts!
