Pardon the formatting im on mobile** It was an adult series I read many years ago based on the development and history of the us after the 13 colonies, surrounding several families and individual characters moving west to establish homesteads. It followed their lives, physical and metaphorical journeys, and spanned a few generations. There were I believe 15-30 books in the series and they my have been titled after different states. I read these when I was young and visiting my grandmother. I would borrow one a week. She is getting older and asking all the kids and grand kids and great grand kids if we would like anything from her house as she is downsizing now since she lives alone. As much as I would love to say any of your books, there are a lot of us and I don't want to step on toes. I remember these books fondly but cannot remember the name of the series. Next time I visit her I will obviously look for the series but in the mean time as she lives out of town she said she would dig it out if I could remember the name for her. Any help would be appreciated!!!! Thanks
