Alternatively, what scene has made you cry?

Recently I’ve been rereading The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao and the scene where Oscar’s grandmother prays so hard for her daughter’s safety that the devil himself couldn’t enter their town for a week moved me very deeply. Shortly afterward, the scene where Oscar’s mother is beaten near to death and is guided out of the cane fields by the Mongoose moved me near to tears. So what’s done this for you?
