So, I've got to commute, and I'm looking to maybe listen to some audio books. I've been trying to figure out which types of books work best (non-fiction, lighter fare, etc...). For instance, poetry hasn't been ideal, because you have to focus on it (and, I never liked listening to poetry anyways).

I've tried some literary non-fiction (Saul Bellow), but, I can't lie, I find it hard to follow.

I haven't really tried a straight-up novel. Are there any literary formats that you find work well for audio books (especially in a car, where you're not giving it your full attention)?
