I've been wondering this for a while. I feel Kevin Smith, being such a comic fan, would love working on established characters at Marvel or DC. I also feel he is a big enough name that any title he works on would have pretty good sales, so i would have thought the big 2 would be keen to snap him up.

Yet he doesn't seem to be up to much in recent years, apart from stuff at Dynamite. Is this through his own choice, perhaps because he is focusing on other things outside comics? Or is he just unable to get a gig at Marvel, DC or Image?
