I Hate #BellLetsTalk Day...
For years now when this day has rolled around, I've seen tweets, Facebook statuses and Instagram posts that just makes me want to tell everyone to just...be quiet.
You see, I've been quietly been going through depression and I don't know what to do. I've been binge eating McDonald's everyday for months, trying to get up to go to the library to do schoolwork and get overwhelmed. I've turned off the data on my phone so I don't see my emails right away and even when I do, I don't respond. I don't pick up calls, I don't respond to text messages and I simply wait until I can binge watch a TV show or look at pornography.
I moved out to get away from my family's mental health issues (all three of them had mental breakdowns) and I feel like my 40 year battle with depression is thickening. I don't know what to do. Counselling seems futile... I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO...
I hate what my family went through, and I find myself getting sad about it. I'm a 25 year old man and I can barely face the real world.
Help.
