Job market for self taught devs (NYC)?
I'm self-taught and have been focusing mostly on Asp.NET Core, Javascript, and Python. Initially, I was going to focus on solely on Python/Javascript but I fell in love with C#/F# and have spent a lot of time learning Asp.NET Core and Mono (for F#/Suave). Anyways, I'm wondering what the job market is like for self-taught C#/Asp.NET Core developers. It's just that most Bootcamps focus on Ruby/JS and so there is obviously a market there. I have no idea what the .NET market is like. If there is a market for self-taught, then are there any specific types of projects that I should be working on? So far I've been writing social network clones and e-commerce apps and have played around with a few different technologies (Entity, MediatR, Dapper, Marten, Flyway, etc.).
