Becoming .NET dev
Im looking forward to becaome .NET developer. There is a really expansive 8 month course for becoming .NET developer. I have some knoweledge of in programming. In college i've learnt Visual Basic and SQL, and ive did a 1 month course on Java. I've basically have the same expirience in Java and in Visual Basic, and im looking forward to become a back end dev.
This 8 month course includes learning C#, XML, WPF, using MVVM patterns in WPF, Unit testing, Exception handling, Entity Framework, SQL, Linq, basics of MVC, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Web API Security..and a final project that includes Front end developers, Software Testers, ICT Administrators and "us" .Net programers. They say that we will do real projects with actual deadlines. Our mentors are programmers that have 10+ years of expirience in programming and all of them have a programming company of their own.
I want to point out, that I am a college student (2nd year) in economics department for business and information systems and i don't think that my knowledge will be enough to get a job after finishing it without programming courses.
Basically, my question is..is there a company that would give me a chance to work for them after finishing this course? Am i going to be a junior .net developer or there are many things to learn besides that?
