How's AWS Lambda for ASP.NET Core 2.0 Web API and how to deploy it in Linux/Rider?

Title says all. I am just wondering if anyone is using AWS Lambda for hosting .NET Core Web API + EC2/Docker for Angular/Vue front end. Is it better than EC2/Docker API hosting + front end? Also, there seems to be no tutorial on how to deploy it from Rider or Linux (Terminal). There's only a Visual Studio AWS Extensions available but I cannot use Windows (various reasons).
