ASP.Net Core 2.0 & Bootstrap
Good morning, all.
I'm working on learning ASP.NET Core 2.0 and have a quick question. I noticed that the new MVC project starts with Bootstrap 3.3.7 and JQuery 2.2.0.
As I'm basically brand new to web development, I'm not sure if using these older versions are kind of a... Standard? I've been trying to figure out how to update Bootstrap to the stable 4.0 release and JQuery to the stable 3.3.1 release but seeing how the software comes setup for the older versions I'm not sure how to do this properly.
I know there's guides out there for how to do so, so please don't feel the need to post a hyperlink.
My main question would be: As a new aspiring ASP.NET Core developer, should I be learning Bootstrap 3.3.7 and JQuery 2.2.0 or should I update to the newest versions and learn those?
