I'm seeing a few "certificates", and then a lot of general CS (which is probably C++ and Java). How does a person learn .NET and ASP.net in college? Do they usually get a CS, then learn other specifics on their own? Are those certifications worth it?

I really don't want to do a boot camp, unless I have to . Surely there are other ways of learning .NET and ASP.Net.
