Ok this is stupid, and probably conceited, but I’m super excited. I was just able to get the first two features of a simple note taking application working, building from scratch, without walking through a tutorial or using my books. I googled a couple things along the way, but for the most part, I wasn’t just doing what someone was telling me, I was doing what I knew needed to be done to make the application work.

I’m not doing anything super ground breaking, but it feels like a milestone for me personally. Thanks to everyone here who’s been answering my questions over the past few months.
