Symfony PHP vs .Net Core
The owner of the company I work for is trying to decide between these frameworks. We have no previous software, web apps, except some of the current project I've already built in .net core. So far there is myself and another developer. I am less experienced than the other developer. He wants to let go of the work I've done and move to Symfony PHP because he worked with it before. All of his reasons for the switch were things Net Core already does. So from what I can tell it is at best it is a wash between the two frameworks, but I imagine it is not even that.
I don't want to switch to PHP Symfony because the job market is much smaller than .Net Core. I'm worried the owner will not value my opinion because I'm not as experienced.
Am I wrong to not want to make this switch? What are the pros and cons of both? I can't find much comparisons between the two online.
