Hello, I'm a trainee web developer, 32 old, and last week I've got my first project, I was all excited because it all new for me. The project is about analyzing a old App from a bank, lotus domino vbscript soap web services.. The thing that got me worried is that I'm not touching any code, it only looking at the database , diagram, reading text.. And writing documents.. Conclusion I'm not learning anything about proper programming and today I ask one of my colleague that if it will always be like this... And he say yes..

So my question is for my future or career I must if must try to change to another project or I stay silent and work?
