Give me one reason to use MVC/Razor Pages over API + SPA (Angular/Vue)

I am just curious whether there's any reason to go with MVC/Razor Pages over Web API + Front-end javascript SPA. I would appreciate if someone can offer some valid arguments. Do note that I am a 5+ years backend developer with some experience with MVC but from what I have read so far, it seems like API + SPA is the way to go now. So, I would appreciate if someone can offer valid arguments against this.
