I know this probably gets asked a lot, but I want a current opinion as things move fast in the front-end world.

My question applies to both ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core MVC.

I'm thinking about this from the perspective of building business applications (internet and intranet) that are data heavy (primarily displaying and updating data), where you still want the application to look "nice" and work well on multiple devices.

I know that the popular choices seem to be Angular, React and VUE. Which would you choose in 2018, and why would you pick it? Are there any other good options I've missed, or would you even bother with a JS framework and just stick to Razor?

Bonus question edit: What would be your ideal stack for the above type of application if you were starting a brand new project in 2018?
