So yesterday thanks to the great replies I got from asking about a webhost. I went with A2 Hosting. Created a subdomain and connected in my github account to push my site.

Site pushes but getting a 403, basically no index page, and sure enough there is only the project folder + all contents and the startup.cs in there.

After a number of emails with a support person I realised he doesn't have a clue about asp,net and has gone silent on me.

The framework on the host is 4.7, but core 2 is 4.7.2. Might this be the issue?

Anyone else encounter this? Github has done its job correctly and pushed its contents, but nothing is happening at the host end.
