I am working on starting a signature capture program for an existing .NET desktop software in my business. We use the crystal reports run-time and I would like to pass a signature to the report at time of print. My question for you is, should I just use a windows tablet and .NET for the signature program or is it worth looking into doing something a bit more mobile friendly like javascript? I would prefer the ladder only because I have some future tablet apps that I would like to develop to assist some of our employees. I figured getting into another platform (that can compliment .NET and MSSQL databases) now would be nice. It would also be preferable to use a cheaper, android tablet that windows.
