We have an existing ASP.NET web API that needs further development at work. Since I learn best by doing, I want to create a demo project at home and learn from it (using pluralsight).

Problem is, I run Linux at home my only option is using ASP.NET Core. Is it possible to learn ASP.NET using linux? how different is it from the Windows version?
