Starting .Net development following a Django Background
I just started a web development training, the thing is they use ASP.NET at the firm I am working for. While I only know the basics of Django( Made 2 projects so far) covering on how to use databases with Django, Filtering queries, basic bootstrap and the username django model. Would this sudden change affect my learning process and have me start over? My instructor suggested I learn C# from scratch and build up my knowledge till I am capable of understand the MVC architecture. Is this a good idea and does anyone have similar experiences?
Thanks for your time, its my first post here, I am sorry if this is the wrong place to ask
