Hello. No previous NoSql experience, so please tolerate a bit :)

I have ASP Web forms legacy app made on .net 4.0. What is the best NoSQL DB to use with it? I plan only to read from it.

First I considered MongoDB of course. But apparently in case of .net 4.0 there is only 1.11 version of Mongo driver supported. Is it ok? Can I still use it without problems and drawbacks?

Other .net 4.0 friendly options I found are: SterlingDB and NosDB. But I really do not want to use them because they are not used so much as Mongo so not much help and community support around here probably.
