A scientist by trade. I am trying to learn to developed phone apps and webpages.

Since pretty much c# can do all that so I thought I will give it a go with asp.net

But now I am very confuse. Why do all lessons has Angular too? Is it a must to learn angular? Can I create complex website with only asp.net and using only razor?
