Low level exception handling/recording for MVC? Is Elmah dead?
For ASP.net MVC we've been using Elmah in our large projects. Elmah hasn't really received any significant updates for years, and even feature/support stopped being added before things like Entity Framework became popular, leaving you with legacy database connectors, no real UI customization, and only 32 bit support.
So what are other people using for low level exception catching, logging, and similar? If you went entirely bespoke what resources did you use to create that? I'm aware that .Net Core has some cool APIs to make creating this easier, and while we're looking towards .Net Core MVC in the long term, we aren't ready to commit yet.
