I'm interested to know if Angular 6 is still considered a viable platform for web development.

Are you currently working on an Angular 6 project or do you plan to?

The reason I ask is that several years ago Angular was the hottest buzzword in town yet the product was far from mature. I wrote a website in Angular 2 and it was a very painful experience.

Angular 6 appears to be much more stable and polished however Angular now seems to be forgotten. I recently refreshed my personal website using Angular 6 + .net core 2.1. The experience was not without mishap but in general things went very smoothly.
