So I was re-reading this announcement from MS, that was posted on MSDN 4 years ago, and also some of the controversy it brought, and realised: Was WCF Data Services ever open sourced? I couldn't find anything Googling it and I tried github as well - if it wasn't open sourced, was there any reason why?
