I've begun to dabble into ASP.NET MVC 5 and I'm using their template with Cloud authentication to my Azure AD account that has my domain users syncing to the cloud. My issue I'm having is signing in with an on-premise account that is synced into Azure AD. I can create a new user in Azure AD and sign in with no issues.

I'm curious if I'm missing a setting in Azure AD/AD Connect, or it's not possible. I've searched the web for a couple days, but I haven't found any concrete evidence that tells me it can or cannot be done.

Has anyone tried this scenario before?
