I did a bit of Googling before posting this, but does anyone have experience with on-premise hosted PowerApps (not on-premise gateway) or an alternative for Windows .NET LOB forms apps?

I want to use PowerApps, but my organization has strict rules about data portability and hosting outside of our network, i.e. no cloud anything. Our infrastructure team, by executive direction, blocks O365 and Google Drive.

I can whip up MVC, WebForms, etc. no problem with VS2017, but this work is boring, boilerplate, and a waste for LOB apps, which are not anymore complex than Access or Excel, both of which we have tons of and we want to eliminate with forms.

I want to be able to crank out LOB forms quickly in my spare cycles, without thinking very much and my investigation led me to LightSwitch (dead) and then PowerApps. But with PowerApps I have the no cloud issue.

For our intenal SharePoint environment we use Infowise ULTIMATEforms, which I love because of its simplicity to turn tabular data and lists into forms. However, I was told by our team that MS says no more SharePoint for public facing sites (I don't know if this is true).

Also, another requirement is I need some of these LOB forms to be on the outside world, for outside clients, and I need to lock them behind our SSO portal.

TLDR; Does anyone have experience with On-Premise PowerApps or .NET alternative from an established vendor for doing LOB forms?
