I love .NET but I just accepted a Java/Spring position. Picking up Java is pretty easy but the understanding the ecosystem is confusing. I know this is a dotnet subreddit but I'd imagine that some people here might write Java during the day.

For those that write Java, are there any recommended resources for understanding the Java ecosystem (and/or Spring) coming from .NET? I feel that I frequently have to google "whats the .net equivalent to ___" and the answer is not always clear, especially since sometimes there are no equivalents.
