Im looking into starting a new project and trying to decide the stack to use At the moment I'm thinking .netcore vue.js, but a little unsure about the database.

I'm looking to use azure, but want to keep costs low. I think sqlserver will be too expensive, so I'm thinking of using postgres.

I'll need to use things like asp.net identity for user store.

Does this stack sound feasible? I'd be interested to know what others experience is, particularly postgres, and any pitfalls
