I'm getting involved soon with few small .NET Framework projects and I'm gonna get Parallels because it's on sale for Black Friday. However I'm undecided on which Windows branch to run as guess OS. Windows 10 with rolling release style is now a mess and it is bloated as well.

I've heard some ppl praising LTSC or even Windows Server as alternatives to consumer Windows 10 for development environment. I'd like to opinions of this sub on this.

Edit: I'll be running local dev environment with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio and possibly SQL Server Express.
