Where to find good C#\.net core open source projects to contribute to.

Hi All,

I'm a PHP developer currently learning C# and then .net core. Where could I find a list of good open source projects that I could submit PR too, and grow my skills?

​

I know it will be Github, but it's not always easy to find open source projects with active communities that are beginner friendly?

​

Also as a side note, any recommendations for slack channels I could join?
