[ASP.NET Core/Razor Pages] What's the best way to POST from the layout page?
I have a universal search box that's in the layout page. The idea is to allow the user to search for an item no matter what page they're all. I want to make an AJAX POST to perform the search and return the results. The problem is that the layout page doesn't have a PageModel or Controller. Is there any way to tie either to a layout page? Or some other way to get a POST to fire?
